What I Learned from this Project?

I learned many things that I wasn’t know before such as the main cause and effect of the global warming. I also learned how the global warming is important. Now I realized how people suffer in some countries such as Africa and India from hunger and poverty. I am thinking to do some thing to help people and our planet from the global warming by doing any thing, even it a small thing. In our college (Higher College of Technology) we learned how to search for information and find some useful topics, so I will try my best to write about global warming in many sites and talk about it with my friends to let them know more and more about the harms of global warming.

Individual Action

What can we do to reduce the CO2 Level?

If you look around yourself you will find many things that are producing the CO2 in the UAE. For example: there are many families that have more than one car. There are also some cars with 6, 8 or 12 cylinders that use a lot of fuel, why we are using these cars and we have the ability to use cars with 4 cylinders. There are also many things in the UAE that produce the CO2 such as vehicle emissions, industrials emissions and fires in houses. We can avoid this problem with unit together and take this problem seriously. We also have many simple choices to reduce the CO2 such as using bicycle or walking in the winter season, using cars with small engine and using the public transport.

Global Warming in the UAE

Regarding to the Gulf newspaper article about Abu Dhabi's green move gathers pace, how the UAE people can do to reduce the causes and effects of global warming. I think they will do their best to develop a technology on decreasing the causes especially in the UAE and generally for world wide. It’s written that capturing carbon dioxide will not only help to curb global warming, but will also provide an alternative to oil field injections of natural gas. In my opinion it is right and I agree with them. It is also written that the greenhouse effect on climate change in the Middle East region will result in an increase in the region's temperature of 1-2 degrees Celsius by 2030. I think it is the time to slow down the global warming by co-operating all people together and face this problem. This can be done with a small amount of money if everybody participates in the campaign.

One effect of the globale warming

In my point of view, I believe that the temperature increase is the most important effect that I have to write about. The earth is about 33 degrees Celsius warmer than it would be if it did not have the atmospheric blanket of greenhouse gases and clouds around it. Clouds and greenhouse gases keep the earth warm. Once warmed, their molecules then radiate a portion of this heat energy back to earth, creating more warming on the surface of our planet. One thing I want to add is I think that the tsunami is caused because of the global warming. Some scientist said that a large block of ice melts and it raised the ocean which made a big wave.

Effects of Global Warming

There are many effects of global warming in this paragraph I am going to write about these effects. The first effect is ozone layer starts to decrease in some places which puts the people in some areas in real danger. If people get infected there is a danger of getting skin cancer or other diseases. Another effect is the increase in the temperature which starts to rise 55 c degree in some places. Experts have long said that people are affecting the world's climate, and this is no longer in any real dispute. Fossil fuels such as oil, in particular, release carbon dioxide that forms a blanket that holds in heat from the sun's rays. Yet another effect is the air I believe that the air that we are breathing is not clean and is mixed with a lot of gases.

ONE CAUSE OF THE GLOBAL WARMING

From my point of view, I believe that the main cause of global warming is human activities. For example: the concentration of carbon dioxide has increased because of the human activities and the fossil fuels. Population growth is also a disaster. The increase of people means more food, and more methods of transportation. That means more methane because there will be more burning of fossil fuels. More people also mean more cars and more cars means more pollution. Also, many people have more than one car. Consequently, despite this above, global warming can solve by many way. However, I will talk about these solutions in the near future.

Causes of the Global Warming

The ozone layer is facing serious problems that are caused by humans. There are many human causes and natural causes. In this paragraph, I am going to write about these causes. The first cause is human activities, because of it the concentration of carbon dioxide has increased. Another cause is combustion of fossil fuels and it has also increased the concentration of carbon dioxide. Yet another cause is pollution and it produces CO2 which has a lot of dangers in our life. Natural causes are causes created by nature. One natural cause is a release of methane gas from wetlands. Methane is a greenhouse gas. A greenhouse gas is a gas that traps heat in the earth's atmosphere. Another natural cause is that the earth goes through a cycle of climate change. This climate change usually lasts about 40,000 years.
